Life before smartphones, social media and Internet

 LIFE BEFORE SMARTPHONES, SOCIAL MEDIA AND INTERNET

How would have been the life before phones and social media. I know many of you already know the life in the year 2000's and before. The younger generation must be curious to know the life that they haven't experienced. The arrival of social media had completely changed the way of living and thinking of people. 

       Before the arrival of phones and social media, people were used to spend a lot of time with their families. Families were used to sit and spend a lot of time together. But nowadays if all the family members are in the same room at a home, they are busy in their phones, watching the reels most of the time. I remember when I was a child, I used to play games with my colony friends like hide and seek, carrom, etc and many more games but after the arrival of phones, the trend had changed, the games are now played on phones.  During the summer vacations, we used to visit Nani's Home, we all get too excited for these days, but now I see, most of the children want to spend a time at different places to click a pictures and upload it on social media. Social Media transformed the way of living, today people are more worried about the likes and comments on their photos and reels, spending more and more time on social media. 

          Before 2010, there were no smartphones or I can say that the smartphones were just entering in the Indian market, we all the cousins were used to meet and spend a lot of time together but now we all usually meet on the phones through video calling. Actually this is one of the advantage of technology, through which we all are connected with each other. Before the internet and google, to collect any information we go to the library, but now at one click we all can get information through Google, just we need the internet connection. 

           So, the technology has made the advancement in the way of living of people, it has its own advantages and disadvantages, its up to us how we use it. But the life before the smartphones and social media was different that I usually miss.
